( it feels like the humane thing to do, abandoning the line of conversation regarding skulduggery getting off the captain. the fact this line of logic now exists in her brain is completely unwelcome, but here we are. for now, they're moving on to actual productive things.

Like I said, it was a nice idea and all.
Even if she does know anything, she didn't feel like sharing. Can you believe how moody she is? And seriously rude. How the hell she ever convinced the captain to teach her anything is beyond me.

But...she did just remind herself that whatever Jenny knows about sigils, she learned from the captain first. Hmm.]

Maybe I can try asking her some time. ( this is the kindest, most gentle way of saying "let the adults talk". it is, more accurately, a "i suspect user error and will attempt a reboot accompanied with a little bit of simp energy", which has seemed to work for her in the past. )
Maybe teaching her was a condition of winning the game of Blackjack, I don't really know. You're sure there's nothing in hindsight that sticks out about your conversation?

She barely said anything about sigils at all. Just that she draws a shape and tells it what to do, and that she only knows how to break the jewelry case and bribe the erda flow.
I would've liked to know about that second one, but like I said, she wasn't exactly cooperative.

you know, back then the ship had felt so strange and new, and not every important detail had stood out as sharply as it should have during pirate jenny's first foray onto the ship. now, for better or worse, the serena eterna has come to feel like a begrudging home, complete with rules for what is and isn't possible — the latter being few and far between. two of the lesser that come to mind are: the crew door won't open and the glass cases in the jewelry shop can withstand anything you throw at it. naturally, remembering there's a way around it positively fascinates.
so ...huh. interesting. so is bribing the erda flow. )
I would too. I wonder what exactly it can be bribed for, apart from I guess... a ship.
