People aren't perfect. Sometimes they leave because they think that'll protect people more. It's usually a mistake in the end, but that doesn't always mean the intentions are cruel.
That's not dull. I've only ever seen real buildings that withstood the nuclear apocalypse, and they were gigantic. I can imagine anything else that stood among them was just as impressive.

I was born in space. It wasn't like your city, like Zaun, but it wasn't great either. I only saw a real mountain when we touched down on Earth, and it was way more striking than a history book could contain. They're towering and gorgeous, and you feel so small in their shadows...
