i asked her for confetti cannons and she gave them to me pretty willingly when i told her why i needed them.
so i think if we ask and just say "a picnic" then that should work just fine.

( painters, huh? even in her manic throes of sketching faces from home before she forgets what they look like, it'd never been relaxing. never cathartic, just a part of the grieving process — exacerbated when the final works don't properly capture her mothers eyes. coming back to it with fresh eyes just reinforces the flaws in the works. )

I tried. I went and played in the arcade with Natsuno after the party, but still ended up ruining that in the end.
