( not serious in regards to having had no issue conserving bullets or regaining them from sundries, but serious about diversifying her weaponry skills. in the battle royale, clarke had been given a sickle and nothing else. in any future instance, she'd like to at least make use enough of a randomized blade to be able to put up a fight. a gun will always be easier, why stop there?
with a hmm of thought, and reaching for a muffin: )
Like so they could explode on impact? Or never miss? That would be cool.
[ meanwhile, eddie stocks up on an array of different foods on his plate. he'll blame it on the cold. the more food, the more his body will be able to stay warm in spite of the freezing temperatures of their current location. ]
Yeah, like. I don't know how possible it is to make those in real life, but in the game they had all different kind of effects. Acid or poison damage, grappling arrows, and yeah, arrows that don't miss. You wanna be careful of that, though, there are enough warnings out there about weapons that always hit their mark, even when accidentally aimed at a loved one. [ because really, that's all they'd need right now. ]
( momentarily distracted by the thought of dipping an arrow head into the vial of mizuki's toxin before sending it flying, but immediately brought back to an unpleasant reconstruction of earth at the mention of friendly fire. yikes. she makes a face. )
Guess I'll hold off on those for a while, and start with just... maybe learning how to hold a bow. ( and finding one to hold in the first place.
[ eddie lets out a deep sigh at that, and nods in agreement. he hasn't been involved in nearly anything like clarke has, but he can appreciate the dangers involved in handling weapons one might not be ready for.
like handing a kid a recurve bow and expecting him to be able to hit a deer. it's a memory that he hasn't even thought of in years, having spent far too much time burying almost everything associated with his father deep down where it wouldn't flood back to the surface. ]
My dad taught me, [ he blurts out, blinking in confusion, like maybe he hadn't really meant to say that out loud. ]
Oh. Thank you, I could uh. I could probably draw more, if you wanted. [ as if he needs the excuse to focus on a distraction. ] And if we do find a bow and arrow, maybe I can help with that.
