how the fuck do i organize this so i don't lose my absolute mind updating it LET'S START WITH A LIST IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER

natsuno yuuki — "sometimes you see all your anger reflected back to you in a dirty mirror surface, and decide to reach through and make friends with it"; ride or die best friend, would lie, steal, murder, and destroy worlds for. promised to kill him if he wanted to die, then slapped him in the face for recklessly blowing himself up. chocolate cake gold standard.
palamedes sextus — local woman swears to never feel love again, almost immediately falls into a very intense liking. has now lived in palamedes' orbit so long she's adopted his mannerisms and vernacular. will always take his glasses and clean them on her shirt. will always bury him alive in snow and try to drown him in the ocean. likes to just sit back and let him talk, and that's how she's learned the most about magic. second on her speed dial of people to run to when in danger, and a pretty decent cuddle buddy. he knows her coffee order, but not how many people she's killed.
rita mordio — took a long time to get from "oh it's rita (derogatory)" to "oh it's rita! (positive)" but they're there now, by virtue of dating within a friend group; maybe not ride or die, but ride and kill for if the situation arose. still has burn scars from where rita tried to roast her like a fucking marshmallow before halloween, but all is forgiven.
jade curtiss — a sociopathic necromancer cauterizes your stab wound one time and suddenly he's dad-shaped and friendly. will never stop stealing his books, throwing him birthday parties, and aggressively lying about her own pursuit of magic to avoid a lecture from.
sharky boshaw — every apocalypse girl needs a fun apocalypse uncle who will hold your hand when you're high as balls, throwback shots of rubbing alcohol with you, teach you text abbreviations, and try to widen your pop-culture understanding via disneyland.
deputy pratt — how we get from getting gutted to something close to friends is beyond me. somehow an idiot and genius all in one. 10/10 would curbstomp jacob seed for, but also sometimes wants to shake. first and only person she's killed on board the serena eterna.
darcy lejeune — a headache in human form. but admirable in swordsmanship, loyalty, resilience, and drive. opposite thoughts and opposing sides on the whole captain deal. they're either going to kill each other on a random tuesday in a random hallway, or hatefuck and call it a draw.

skulduggery pleasant — all credibility as a magic teacher erased by the fact he's fucking the enemy. a little scared of him, but less scared than she is about what she can envision herself doing to him. ripped out a rib bone once and turned it into a headband, as part of her war regalia.
